A fantastic 19th C. ethographic object in great condition. A copper bath container used to carry bathing scrubs, soaps, pumice stones, wash rags, etc. Hand-forged and created in two pieces with a tinned surface for protection. It has a brass handle and little holes at the bottom for water drainage. Copper is hammered really thin so it would be light to carry. Imagine women carrying this to their Turkish bath! Height 8" (20 cm). Width 9.5" (24 cm)
